Just two

Bstate Just two Now it comes down to the final two games in the home stretch. Last night Boise State rolled Utah State 52-21. You knew it was over when the Broncos scored three TD’s in the final five minutes of the first half. I was following the twitter chatter early on in the game and the nah-sayers were out in force and by the second quarter were eating crow. Doug Martin was the hero of the game with 13 carries, 122 yards and four TD’s. Boise state had three attempts at fourth down conversions and accomplished the task handily. In fact it was as if the Broncs could perform whatever task they set out to do. Early on the Aggies had their arsenal of plays ready for Boise State and once they were out of ammunition – Game over!

Friday the Wolfpack will visit the Blue. In my opinion that is a bit of a test, but not much of one. Then the Aggies of New Mexico State will arrive as the final sacrificial lamb ready for slaughter. It will then come down to a popularity contest for the prom (BCS). Who gets to go to the dance (BCS). Boise State has earned the right in the polls, but are the Broncos popular enough to get the invite? I sure hope so! Do not look for any further movement in the polls. I think the Broncs will finish the year at #6 across the board barring any unforeseen and unexpected upsets.
