The Blue

BlueMag 299x300 The Blue

Yesterday was an interesting one. I signed a contract to represent The Blue magazine and it was announced that Peak Broadcasting lost their radio contract with Boise State. I resigned from Peak Broadcasting at the end of October, originally to pursue a new business venture with my son building websites along with other web and internet related items. After he decided to stay in Sacramento, I continued on and set up the infrastructure without him only to discover that without him it’s just not the same. I have the business in place and if there is a need, CMO digital media will satisfy it.

The bottom line is that I have decided to go in pursuit of a new career after 10 years in radio, six of which were representing Boise State Athletics with both KBOI and KIDO. I have worked along side Paul J. and Bob Behler and they are both great guys. Next year, in some capacity, I am sure they will have the opportunity to work together.

So, what does all of this have to do with The Blue Turf Nation blog? Well, at 47 I haven’t quite figured out what to do when I grow up, so in the mean time, I am going to represent Boise State once again with The Blue – A magazine devoted to Bronco Nation and the official publication of Boise State Athletics. I will be an Independent Marketing Consultant and at this point I’m not sure if it will be long term, only time will tell. But it is exciting news for me to be once again affiliated with the program. The Blue will also allow me to write a few articles for the magazine - I’m pretty excited about that. All and all this is just a real life update on the chief cook and bottle washer for The Blue Turf Nation.

Your posts look so cool and interesting but just as they seem to get into the details, it stops with [...] Is that intentional? Id like to read the rest, if there is a rest of the story. Miss ya @ Peak!

Best of luck on your new venture with “The Blue”. I am a regular visitor to Blue Turf Nation and your involvement with the magazine will certainly add to its quality.

Taylor, Okay I’ve researched what you are referring to. I have modified this blog several time to bring it to it’s current format and setup. On the older posts with the [...] simply clik on the TITLE of the post and it will take you to the original story. Thanks for reading BTN and share the blog with your fellow Broncos! Enjoy, CM.
