USC vs. Oregon
USC has a very high powered offense, and is ready to beat Oregon’s not so good defense. The only reason I say that Oregon doesn’t have a good defense is because, they haven’t played anyone who has a really good offense and when they do this weekend they are going to be surprised, my second reason is they have a couple injured starters on roster. Matt Barkley the starting quarterback for the Trojans, has thrown 20 touchdowns this season and is looking to improve against this weak Ducks offense. I say the USC Trojans win 45-37.
Auburn vs. Ole Mississippi
Auburn is currently #1 in the BCS and has a good chance to keep it with a win over Ole Miss. But columnists on ESPN are saying that Ole Miss has a chance to win. I would have to agree Jeremiah Masoli is looking good and has a chance to lead his team to a victory over the #1 Auburn Tigers. I am going to join the Ole Miss band wagon and say they pull off a great upset 34-31 Ole Miss wins in overtime
In the article, Boise State Can’t Win in Court of Public Opinion, College Football Examiner writer, Kevin McGuire, exams the debate surrounding Boise State’s chances at being part of the BCS National Championship. Here is my response to the article.

For that past ten years all the Broncos have done in the WAC is win all but 4 games, while winning games by a margin of 29 points. Since 2001 the Broncos haven’t lost a home regular season game, 59-0 for the record, unless you count the 2005 MPC Bowl. That game had the Broncos losing end to Boston College as the official away team. In their three worst years the Broncos lost 4, 4 and 3 games respectively. They have gone to a bowl game all but one time during their tenure in the WAC.
The Broncos have accomplished all they have with a football budget of less than $5 Million compared to say, Ohio State, for whom spends above $30 Million. By all accounts Boise State should not have had this type of continued success. In contrast to all other Non AQ counterparts I dare anyone to find a team with the same type of success.

Boise State will once again be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The article written by Austin Murphy (not Brian Murphy) is titled “Boise State: The Great Debate.” I am sure it will look at Boise States chances at a National Title Game. This link is to the full version of the cover.
