Boise State Bobble Heads – 6th Edition
The 6th edition of the Boise State bobble heads is in town right now. There are going to be 4 different bobble heads including Detroit Lion Titus Young, St. Louis Ram Austin Pettis, Atlanta Falcon Ryan Winterswyk, and last of all Buster Bronco. Now I agree with 3 of the 4 picks that they did this year. The one I don’t like is Buster, now I am not hating on Buster I just think it could have been used on a different player. For instance players I think should have been a bobble head candidates are Kyle Brotzman, Jeron Johnson, Tommy Gallarda, and Winston Venable. Personally I would have chosen Kyle Brotzman, he was a huge part of Boise State’s history.
I love this tradition of the bobble heads; it’s a great way to remember great Boise State players. Bobble heads can be purchased at local Jacksons Food stores for $5.99.
Taking Away Zabransky’s Thunder
The Chick-fil
-A Kickoff Game committee decided to back out of Jared Zabransky bringing in the game ball with Hershel Walker. Now it will be Ryan Winterswyk. I think that he is a worthy candidate to bring out the ball, but I think Zabransky deserves it more than Winterswyk does. What’s frustrating is Zabransky HAD the chance to go on to the field and watch his alma mater team against the team that crushed him 6 years ago. For him to experience that feeling would have been great.
