KitchenAid’s Color of the Year 2022 revealed

The conclusion of 2021 saw an influx of color of the year announcements, but the trend-setting revelations haven’t finished yet. KitchenAid has just shared their Color of the Year 2022 is Beetroot, a lush, satin-rich magenta that is set to reshape modern kitchen ideas for seasons ahead.

Beetroot is described by KitchenAid as an ‘attention-grabbing, luxuriant shade’ that reflects the vibrancy found in making the most of everyday moments… with an ‘unexpected twist on the familiar.’

The appliance powerhouse hopes that the energizing tone will push you to ‘uproot the ordinary’ and ‘see the benefits of an exquisite color block in both fashion and interiors.’

The shade is a shift for the manufacturers who crowned Honey (a vivid orange-hue) their Color of the Year in 2021. However, while the tone is a change for KitchenAid, it may come as no surprise to trend enthusiasts who know that purple is at the peak of color trends this year.
