We were very grateful to find this place as it is the only RV park in the area that could accommodate our big rig size. Entrance at office is a bit narrow, but we carefully got through it, as did other big rigs when we were here. Internal roads are a bit tight but passable. Two neighbors had to move their trucks for us to get into our spot. Our spot was lined with big treesnot much room for error! Small stream along the back and lots of grass and trees surrounding us. Level gravel, FHU-50. Picnic table. Fire ring. Wifi ok most of the time. Cable. Very quiet. Near Grand Teton National Park and Jackson. We were told that moose wander through the RV park but, sadly, we did not see any. We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:

Grand Teton National Park. Jackson (about 10 minutes). Teton Village (about 10 minutes). Pinky Gs Pizzeria (Diners & Dives reviewed), Antler Arches, Street Food at Stage Coach Bar (historical bar in Wilson) - delicious food; huge quantity.

The only thing going here is the location. It is convenient to Grand Teton NP and Jackson. The staff is very pleasant. The sites are very narrow with grass between some sites and others having untrimmed shrubs or trees. We were in the electric only area. There are shared spigots for water. When attempting to use the spigot nearest our site there was a sign that said it was out of order, will be repaired soon. Asking at the office they said that it had been knocked off center and not righted but was OK to use. The cable TV at our site didn't work. They did have Spectrum come out and lay a new line under the gravel. There is a dump on the way out. The entrance road is narrow with newer tiny homes. We were in site 41A, a pull-thu. The "loop" was closed off at the end with other sites and so when leaving for the day with the car we had to turn it around to be able to exit. We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.

RV Sailor We discovered that in Wilson, there are million dollar homes in some newer developments. One was "The Aspens". They have upscale restaurants and a nice little grocery. One appears to have a golf course that is open to the public. Of course, the major action is in Jackson which is 10 minutes down the highway. Check out the Museum of Wildlife Art - the sculptures are amazing. Visit Teton Village for unique shops and restaurants. You can para-sail and take horse rides there. You can also ride the chair lifts up to the top of the mountain. In Jackson, check out the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and the Silver Dollar Bar. It a very busy town square but worth walking around and seeing all the stores and restaurants........

It is a very expensive "resort". So we had big expectations. It wasn't as bad as some other reviewers on this site have said. It is extremely convenient to Jackson, Jackson Hole, and the Grand Tetons National Park. When you drive in, you see very new, modern cabins on either side of the road. The office is up-to-date and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Behind the office are the sites. The sites are borderline. They are close together but not as bad as some we have seen. We had full hook-ups with 50 AMP service. We were quite satisfied with our site but not all sites were as nice as ours. It doesn't appear they groom sites in between guests. Most of the grass was very dry and scraggly. Roads are all two-way and narrow; difficult for two bigger RVs to pass each other. There are no amenities but a bath house and laundry. It is true that the Jackson area is expensive but the prices here still seem way too high for the park. We would not book here again unless they upgrade their sites and roads. (We did have a moose outside the campground that was entertaining.) We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.
